START TIME: All students start school at 8:30am everyday.
FINISH TIMES: Years 7, 8 and 9 finish at 3.20pm (Mon-Thurs)
Years 10 and 11 finish at 3.40pm (Mon-Thurs)
Friday Finish is at 1.40pm with a range of Enrichment activities available for students to attend up to 3pm. (see Enrichment Brochure and Calendar for details)
LVA Structure of the day
The day is based on six 50-minute lessons a day. All year 7 & 8 students have a 20-minute literacy intervention 20mins each day and Yr9, 10 and 11 have a 20-minute extension to Lesson 2.
All year groups have a 30-minute tutor time following the Lea Valley Learning Journey.
Break times are 20 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes during the midday period.
In Addition, Year 10 and 11 have a 20-minute extension to their Lesson 6. Finally, on Friday school finishes at 1.40pm.
