- Blazer - Plain dark navy with school logo and/or 'V' neck jumper - Plain dark navy with school logo
- Skirt – Knee length, straight or box pleat in dark navy or Trousers - Plain tailored dark navy
- Shirt - White
- A Lea Valley Academy School tie
- Socks – Plain
- Shoes - Black with low or flat heels. Trainers are acceptable, but they must be plain black
- Outdoor coats - Plain navy or black. Denim and short leather jackets are not permitted.
- If your child needs to wear a headscarf for religious observance, this must be plain and dark black or blue
- A lanyard –in the first instance, this will be provided by the school.

If students are not in full school uniform, they may be sent home to change. Any items of non-uniform will be confiscated at the school gate.
The following are not permitted:
- Headwear (other than for religious observance)
- Hoodies, cardigans or sweatshirts
- Leggings

- LVA White polo shirt or navy blue tracksuit top
- LVA Navy blue shorts or navy blue tracksuit bottoms
- Navy blue socks
- Trainers with non-marking soles, Shin pads / mouth guards (are recommended but optional)
The PE kit can be purchased from the school uniform shop (details above). On days when students have PE lessons, they are permitted to arrive to school in full PE kit. If students are not in full PE kit, they will be sent home to get changed. Students are not permitted to wear shorts to school or outside of PE lessons.

Jewellery and appearance
Jewellery and make-up are not considered appropriate for school. However, if students have pierced ears, they should wear only studs (one per ear), one discrete nose stud is permitted. No other facial or body piercings are allowed.
A maximum of one small ring may be worn on the finger. NB Rings must be removed for PE and Technology lessons, and the school will not accept liability for the loss of jewellery.
Light make-up is permitted but must be applied prior to arriving in school and not applied in school. False nails and eye lashes are not appropriate for school and therefore are not permitted.
Hairstyles must be of a conventional nature. Shaving patterns into the hair or dying hair in unnatural colours is not acceptable.

Students are expected to bring:
- A school rucksack or bag large enough to carry books and A4 exercise books.
- Their school planner, a pencil case with black, green pens, a ruler, a rubber, a pencil, a sharpener, a scientific calculator and a reading book.
Mobile phones, earphones and other electronic devices are not permitted in school and will be confiscated if seen.
